BLIZZCON
About:
From a simple idea to one of the largest and most successful gaming conventions around, I was honored to be a part of the first BlizzCon in 2005 and to continue its’ success throughout the years. The idea started with a small handful of individuals fumbling to conceive, design and launch the idea both internally and into the gaming world and has grown to become a massively successful event allowing the company to engage with fans who share the same passion for gaming. The event today now requires hundreds of talented individuals across many disciplines and has a massive global reach.
Below are a few of my favorite and more memorable contributions created through the years.

Logo
What’s in a name?
Without a name or logo, you have no event. Never did I realize while designing the original BlizzCon logo the scale and impact the show would have for fans and the industry.

BlozzCon Gifts
2009 Noobz Packaging
Each year, guests of the show receive a collectable gift with the purchase of an event ticket. In 2009, fans received a limited edition Jim Raynor Noobz figure from the StarCraft universe. I was honored to create the packaging for this item as well as the box for the four addition figures sold at the event.
2010 Deathling Packaging
2010 BlizzCon attendees were each given a limited edition statue titled “Dethling.” The packaging for this piece was built by Blizzard Licensing using a comp file I created for the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Collector’s Edition packaging. The comp can be seen on the Cataclysm page.
2008 WoW Pet Gift Card
Guests of the show also receive a limited edition pet code to accompany their favorite World of Warcraft character.
